      @rockman29:

      since Vita can run PSP games .. then for sure this is going to work fine even better .

        @MGB: Good point! Forgot about that. And we finally get PS1 classics…

        Might’ve been cool to see some close to HD FF III remake though, with touch controls and all that jazz bits.

    I wanted a HD 2D remake… So I can have a PSP HD collection for PS3..

    Obviously from the scans this is JPN.

    Sal: it would be really appreciated if when you mention all these JRPG’s that you mention whether or not there is any word of an NA release.

      @Malcolm Reynolds: SE probably didn’t say anything yet. I’m sure if they say something it will get posted here.

    Malcolm Reynolds: He mentions it if there is word, if not he doesn’t, i dont see much confusion in that :/ (no offense)

    Oh :x I have the DS version. To be honest, it’s a fun game, FF is my favorite gaming series ever, but this game is perhaps the worst in the series :/ It’s a tie up between this one and FF II, which is also kinda boring. What makes the DS version worse is that they tried to give the main characters some personality, whereas the NES original main characters were lifeless, akin to the original Final Fantasy game MCs’, and turns out they’re all extremely annoying, to a point where I’d just want to skip story sections altogether, something I don’t ever do with any other FF game.

    So yeah, it’s nice for anyone who didn’t get the DS version and never played this game…because it was never officially released outside of Japan before the DS 2006 port. There’s also an iOS version, which plays exactly like the DS version.

    So this psp version comes out as something for all the non-DS users who want to play it. Which is fine. Just don’t think there are that many nowadays :P

    I have to see more better scans to see the visuals closer.

    square enix needs to step up their game and bring FFV and FFVI to the 3ds

  • Malcolm Reynolds

    I own this on 3DS.

    I wont, as much as I love FF, buy this on my iphone b/c ios controls are a damn joke and so is the $17 asking price.

    I would buy the UMD version for my psp and the psn version for my PSPGO and my VITA on day 1 however.

    Sadly with Squares reluctance to bring over FF Type Zero in any form I doubt we will ever see this come stateside.

  • kiri25

    Well this makes FF a Sony name since u can now play every #FF on playstation. Tho seeing as like was mentioned with type zero it seems the psp is dead here in the west and we may nvr see it here in the west for psp or vita.

  • KingKelloggTheWaffleHaggler

    How about a real remake with high poly models -_-

    • Viiral

      @KingKelloggTheWaffleHaggler: no thank you..

      • KingKelloggTheWaffleHaggler

        @Viiral: Care to give any reasons?

        • mye89

          @KingKelloggTheWaffleHaggler:

          If there gonna spend all that time on money on a game, there are so many better choice than FF3.

          Bahamut lagoon, live-a-live, seiken densetsu 3, rudora no hiou so on and so forth

          • FaithlessMr

            @mye89:
            Live-a-live <3 Seiken Densetsu 3!!! Oh wow, just the thought of replaying these games anew!

  • Miranda Lawson

    I don’t think that I would want to play this game again. It doesn’t look like the graphics are updated at all…

  • Zero

    I remember playing this. Not really worth buying it again.

    How about FF6 enhanced edition for PS Vita? I would buy that!

    I would also like to see them bring over Type 0. They have to fix the online MP issues and do some few tweaks, but I think an audience for it very much exists in the west.
