Frederick Umminger, manger of software engineering at Sony Computer Entertainment America, has worked on PlayStation 4, according to his LinkedIn resume.
He managed a team of four engineers for the following tasks:
- Maintained audio input and output libraries for PlayStation 3.
- Maintained voice chat library for PlayStation 4.
- Developed voice chat libraries for PlayStation Vita.
- Investigated new audio technologies.
The existence of PlayStation 4, at this point, is transparent, especially with the lot of rumors recently. But more is more, I suppose.
