Start and Select buttons repositioned.

This is the Wii U controller, as far as we know it:

This is the controller now, according to a tweet from a Traveller’s Tales QA tester (now removed), which includes proper analog sticks, and a repositioning of the “Start” and “Select” buttons, and a slight move of the built-in microphone to the left of the “Home” button:

Thanks, NeoGAF.

I still don’t get the analog stick over the A,B,X,Y buttons…….it just looks wrong :/

@Skelter: Yeah moving the thumb down from the analog stick to the buttons will be weird. Also that thing looks like a beast to hold onto. Even if it is light (which I doubt), it will be awkward to hold for extended periods of time.

I like the idea, but the execution leaves a little to be desired.

Are they going to add a name that isnt retarded?

Are they gonna have any games that set it apart besides Mario and Zelda?

Are they gonna redesign the console to not look like the bastard child of a fat 360 and the original Wii?

Are they simply gonna have games worth my time and money unlike the Wii?

Please Nintendo, address these issues b/c lets be honest, outside of the gimmicky tablet controller youre bring outdated HW to market yet again and at least in my case, I lost faith in your company many years ago.

Lets see if the Nintendo faithful will be as harsh to the Wii-U being covered in other console ports as they have been the Vita.
Somehow I doubt it. Consistency is not a trait modern day gamers have.

    It’s looking good so far.
Agreed about the thumb stick on the right-hand side, it would be difficult to use both simultaneously.

I guess we won’t know how it all comes together until we see it in action.
