Guacamelee!, the latest game from Tales from Space developer DrinkBox Studios, will launch exclusively on PlayStation Network for Playstation 3 and Vita through the PlayStation Pub Fund program.

The game, set in a world inspired by Mexican culture, promises to take advantage of each platform’s “special features.” It stars Juan Aguacate, who moves out to save the world after El Presidente’s daughter is kidnapped by the evil Charro Skeleton. The story is centered around a small village in Mexico, and has players traveling through “The World of the Living” and “The World of the Dead” to rescue not just a girl who happens to be El Presidente’s daughter, but one who happens to be the girl he loves.

Guacamelee! will be playable at E3 next week. For now, check out some screenshots at the gallery. Or watch the debut trailer below.
