Ubisoft has shared details for its upcoming Far Cry 3 multiplayer beta, which will run for two weeks this summer across PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The beta will allow up to 16 players to partake in a single match, and offer six playable classes, as well as multiple maps and modes – including “the innovative” Firestorm mode. “Dozens” of weapons with “hundreds” of upgrades and customizations will also be available. It will focus on team-based gameplay experiences, such as support points and the ability to revive fallen comrades. Expect “zip-ining, combat sliding, psyche gas and barrel bombs,” as well.
The beta can be accessed by invitation only. To gain entry, purchase a copy of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier on May 22 at GameStop, and you will receive a code you can redeem here.
