Earlier this month, an internet survey suggested Sony would call its rumored-to-be upcoming, Superbot Entertainment-developed fighter PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. A domain registration uncovered today adds more fuel to the fire.

The domain PlayStationAllStarsBattleRoyale.com is owned by none other than Sony Computer Entertainment America. Here’s a look at the Whois data:

Registrant:
Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC
919 E Hillsdale Blvd
Foster City, CA 94404
US

Domain Name: PLAYSTATIONALLSTARSBATTLEROYALE.COM

GameTrailers TV today teased a “huge” PlayStation 3-exclusive for its next episode, which airs next Thursday, April 27. Could PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale be the big reveal?

Thanks, PlayStation LifeStyle.

Update: Looks like Sony has also secured PlayStationAllStars.com. View its Whois information here.

In more interesting news, however, SuperBot Entertainment launched their official Twitter today, with their first tweet reading: “Boot sequence initiated…” Hrm.

Honestly, the name is the least of my concerns, all I want is the game to be good and fun :)
