Microsoft has picked up several domain names surrounding the title “Halo: Infinity,” Fusible has discovered.

The names were registered through brand protection company MarkMonitor, Microsoft’s go-to group for domain registration.

Domain names registered include: HaloInfinity.net, HaloInfinityMultiplayer.com, HaloInfinity.org, HaloInfinity.co.uk, HaloInfinity.mobi, HaloInfinity.de, HaloInfinityMultiplayer.net, HaloInfinityMultiplayer.org, HaloInfinityMultiplayer.co.uk, HaloInfinityMultiplayer.mobi and HaloInfinityMultiplayer.de.

Additionally, MarkMonitor also registered SpartanOps.org, SpartanOps.net, and MoreThanJustAMap.com within the same week.

Clearly, someone was on a shopping spree.

They had money to burn I guess.

Personally I’m not interested in non-Bungie Halo. Halo Reach was my last Halo. And now Bungie is with Activision. I am cry. :(

You mean they just now registered Halo Infinity?

Isnt that the same number of Halo’s they plan to release in the 360 lifespan?

    Sorry….couldnt resist.
