Square Enix sent out a new set of screenshots for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance today. The images look at Spirits and Nightmares, the two different types of Dream Eaters in Kingdom Hearts 3D, as well as the game’s AR functionality, in which players can feed and pet the Spirits, and play mini-games. Spirits accompany Sora and Riku during their journey, and protect them from Nightmare Dream Eaters.

Side-note: A 90mb demo for Kingdom Hearts 3D was announced today to launch in Japan on May 2. Unfortunately, unless you own a Japanese region 3DS, you won’t be able to grab hold of it.
