To create "high-quality, meaningful experiences" for digital formats.

Dene and Simon Carter, who created the Fable franchise alongside Peter Molyneux, have formed a new development studio, Another Place Productions.

The two brothers co-founded Big Blue Box, at first a satellite studio to Lionhead, but by 2004 one in the same with the company. Within that company, they developed the first Fable.

Joining them at Another Place Productions is former Fable art director John McCormack, Lionhead technical director Guillaume Portes, and executive producer Jeremie Texier.

The team is aiming to “create high-quality, meaningful experiences that will inspire audiences worldwide” for digital formats. Visit the studio’s official site here.

    Hopefully they make a game as good as fable 1, 2 and 3 were horrible

    Yea… they are pretty much saying they can’t do it at Lionhead, complete offense meant to Microsoft and their perversion of Fable.

      @rockman29: Yeah they deserve to be insulted after they ruined fable

    They finally got tired of Molyneux.

    I can’t hardly stand to listen to the guy, I can only imagine working with him is insane.

    He goes out and hypes up games with flat out lies, and then acts like gamers will not be pissed when the game doesn’t deliver.

    Best of luck to Another Place Productions. I bet we will see some very good games from this studio in the near future.

    I actually love Peter Molyneux, but yeah, the first Fable game was definately the best. Best of luck to the new studio!

      @TezChi:

      To each his own. I’m glad someone likes him, serious.

      He has just really pissed me off over the years with Fable.

      I didn’t always despise the guy. :(
