Time Travelers, Level-5′s upcoming PlayStation Vita, 3DS, and PSP adventure game, is due in Japan early summer, game composer Hideki Sakamoto has revealed on Twitter.

Jiro Ishii, who is penning Time Travelersresponded to Sakamoto’s tweet, and said he hopes everyone can hear the game’s music soon.

Time Travelers is set in April 2031, eighteen years after a devastating explosion, which emerged from a mysterious hole in the sky and destroyed central Tokyo. Now, in a newly rebuilt central Tokyo, technology has greatly evolved, and a 2000-meter tall “Space Elevator,” which powers the city, overlooks Tokyo Bay. An event is ready to occur, and it could change the fate of the world.

If you missed last year’s Level-5 World trailer, catch it again below.

Thanks, Game Memo.

  1. I’m definitely curious about how this game will actually be played. I’m all for more JRPGs.

@whiteferrero: It was playable at Level-5 World last year – I’m surprised gameplay hasn’t surfaced on YouTube, or anything.

I’m guessing this will play like 999 or Good People Die or something like that. And imokaywitdis.jpeg.
