Resistance: Burning Skies will launch in North America on May 29, 2012, Sony has announced.

The first-person shooter, a spin-off in the Resistance series developed by Nihilistic Software, puts players in control of Tom Riley, a New Jersey firefighter thrown into the Chimeran war by unfortunate circumstances. It’ll make use of PlayStation Vita’s dual analogs, as well as the touchscreen.
