Genso Suikoden comes out on top.

This week’s Media Create Sales are in, and Konami’s latest entry in the Suikoden series has topped the charts with nearly 62,000 copies sold. Gravity Rush, a highly anticipated new release for PlayStation Vita, debuted in second with over 43,000 sales. The 3DS stayed strong, as always, taking spots 3 to 6 with titles such as Resident Evil: Revelations and Monster Hunter Tri G.

    Good to see Suikoden selling well in Japan, maybe we can get this in future eventhough I doubt it.

    I’m so so happy Genso Suikoden got the recognition it deserves. For some reason I assumed it was released last week, and was surprised to see it didn’t even charted lol.

    Well, I hope the game keeps selling, so Konami considers a westen release. The Suikoden series needs to be reanimated, and honestly, the game looks amazing.

    I have not had a chance to play any of the portable entries, but I’ve always enjoyed the Suikoden games.

    I guess III is my favorite, but V was damn good. Like I said, I can’t speak for the portable titles, but I would love to get a shot at playing the portables titles someday. [Like the one listed above. :) ]
