Following a duo of teases, Capcom has lifted the lid on just exactly what that Asura’s Wrath download content is all about.
DLC Pack 1, dubbed “Chapter 11.5: That Power Is Bad” in Japan, and DLC Pack 2, dubbed “Chapter 15.5: A Novice Is” in Japan, “will explore what happens between episodes from the full game.” Both packs offer “a completely new artistic style taking their inspiration from the world of anime.” That anime, as previously announced, is done by Studio 4°C.
Following the story download content, Capcom will release “Asura’s ultimate battle, where the strongest take on the angriest.” Asura will go up against “the world’s greatest warriors” from Street Fighter, including Ryu. Other characters were not announced, though implied.
Release dates for all three DLC packs have yet to be announced. Screenshots of the content can be seen at the gallery. Considering Asura’s Wrath launched today in North America, watch the launch trailer below.
