Atlus and Sega sign distribution deal

Sega to distribute Atlus titles in Japan.

Index Corporation, Atlus’ parent company, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Sega to handle the distribution of Atlus-brand packaged software beginning April this year.

Atlus hopes to expand sales with Sega’s domestic distribution network and sales force. That said, this sounds like a Japan-only ordeal.

        @Sal Romano: Indeed. I hope this deal extends worldwide and Sega also allows Atlus to localize their ignored games. Oh well… one can hope.

    Hi Sal,

    Can you explain this for me? Are Atlus tapping the distribution channels of SEGA? or will SEGA be doing the PR for them? Because honest to goodness, ATLUS is hell of a better PR pony.
