Starhawk will launch exclusively for PlayStation 3 on May 8, 2012 in North America, Sony has announced today.

The public beta kicks off today for PlayStation Plus subscribers. To find out how else you can get in, check out this page on the official Starhawk website.

A European release date was not announced.
