Namco Bandai and FromSoftware will release the first downloadable content for Dark Souls in the first quarter of the year, according to an EGM source “close to the project.”
The outlet references a trademark filed by FromSoftware in Japan last year, “Yami no Mori,” or “Forest of Darkness,” which could be the name of the content.
In August last year, Dark Souls publishing produer Kei Horono confirmed the team was planning post-release downloadable content. [Update: As a commenter has pointed out, Namco Bandai refuted Horono’s claims a few days later, saying there wouldn’t be any downloadable content.]
