March is the month of Silent Hill.

Following confirmation of Silent Hill: HD Collection‘s delay earlier this week, Konami have shared new dates for their upcoming Silent Hill releases.

Silent Hill: HD Collection (PS3, Xbox 360), which includes Silent Hill 2 and 3 remastered in high-definition with new voiceovers, is out first on March 6. Then, on March 13, Silent Hill: Downpour (PS3, Xbox 360), an all-new Vatra-developed entry in the series, will debut. Finally, on March 27, Silent Hill: Book of Memories (PS Vita), a multiplayer co-op spin-off where players alter stories and change the past, will release.

Looks like March will be the month of Silent Hill.

That is a lot of Silent Hill.

I loved the first Silent Hill….I was so scared as a young teen that I could never finish it! I despised part 2 (which I played to completion and felt it was simply a bore….. a “jog in the fog” is what I called it for years) and never played another one after that.

the Silent Hill: Heavy Rain edition looks really cool though.

I will skip the HD collection but will likely try the new one :D

March is a month of gaming period. Its at least the third biggest month after October and November. I wish the Vita game was coming out mid Feb so I can pick it up for my trip. The timing for my work in March is hurting my gaming time.
