Late last night, the internet discovered what appears to be a viral teaser website called “No Hope Left.”
The website is a blog decorated in various images of mysterious biohazard-sign graffiti ‘appearing all over the world.’ Some of the locations include China, Berlin, and Sao Paulo. A date, January 19, 2012, is tossed around the site in every other post. An update today includes a video, teases whatever’s coming on January 19 for 2pm PST.
But who’s behind it?
TheSixthAxis noticed the area in one of the London photos and went to the sight to see if they can dig anything up. Rather than actual aerosol paint sprayed on the building, the graffiti appeared to be a printed advert. A company called Primesight had their name printed on the advert. TSA found their phone number through a quick search, gave them a call, and confirmed to them later via e-mail:
“Panel number is 2375 03 Parry Street. The company advertising on it is CAPCOM.”
Capcom? Biohazard signs? No hope left? China? Is this Resident Evil 6? When contacted for comment, Capcom said it does not comment on rumors and speculation.
Also of note: Capcom’s hosting a “Resident Evil Experience” nightclub event in San Francisco tomorrow night and a special 15th anniversary party on Friday in Shibuya, Japan.
