More Xbox Next rumors.

Ryse, revealed at this year’s E3 to be a first-person melee game for Xbox 360 Kinect, has moved to ‘Xbox next-gen,’ according to the LinkedIn resume of a former Crytek employee.

Ashley Morgan’s resume reads:

RYSE (X-Box Next Gen) Pushing boundaries of next generation gaming, RYSE is an original AAA IP from Crytek slated to deliver an Epic first-person melee experience in the Roman Empire.

– Designed, created, implemented and scripted numerous game levels using all facets of Sandbox Editor and CryEngine.
– Lead and mentored Jr. Level Designers and Level Designers as well as collaborated with colleagues across multiple disciplines to ensure winning efforts.
– Championed original Game Design for Tablet title exclusive to Crytek and expanding the franchise to include new genre of video game.

She worked at Crytek from January to July 2011.

Thanks, NeoGAF.

    Seems like a good soft-sell game, perfect for a launch title on a new system.

    This is a BAD NEWS…how they announce a game to 360 and move it to 720? WTF…and about the consumer rights?

      @mateuspradosousa: Well technically, nothing’s confirmed yet. This is all according to her resume.

        @Sal Romano: I believe that Microsoft will ask her to remove this resume, and keep the game as advertised.

      @mateuspradosousa: What? Lol.

    I hope it’s true. Ryse always looked next gen, I doubt the 360 could handle the graphics though.

    Can’t wait for the Next Xbox.

    Interesting. I wonder if (assuming this is true) it means the next Xbox is closer than anticipated? Also, if the game is for the Kinect and moved to next-gen, it must also confirm that Kinect support is being carried over to the new system. (Did anyone doubt this, though?).

      @TezChi: No, especially when the system suppose to be able to lip sync and such but I swear they said that connect could do that before it launched.
