Nippon Ichi Software announces two new games

New adventure and dungeon RPG titles.

Nippon Ichi Software announced two new titles during a stage event at the Denkigai Festival in Akihabara today. Well, three, technically. The first announcement, Cave Story 3D, has already been released in the west.

The other two were announced as “New Adventure Title” and “New Dungeon RPG,” respectively. Titles and platforms were not announced.

The adventure title is not similar to the publisher’s Hayarigami franchise, but will please fans of the franchise. It is due for release next summer.

The dungeon RPG is in development at the publisher’s Disgaea studio. Nippon Ichi shared three keywords: “7 Angels,” “High-Resolution Characters,” and “Extensive Customization.” It’s due in 2012.
