Hideo Kojima‘s next game, internally codenamed Project Ogre, is open-world, according to a recent interview with CNN.
“The kind of game I’m making is some game that has a very wide entrance, a very open entrance,” Kojima said. “Rather than making something very cinematic, [I plan to] make something very free.”
Kojima described the game as being set in a ‘very open world’ where players ‘can wander and explore freely.’ Even after 100 hours, Kojima said, players should still be able to find new sights and adventures.
The first-ever screenshot of Project Ogre was posted on Kojima’s Twitter profile last week.
