Interview details later this month.

Issue 65 of Official PlayStation Magazine UK features Kojima Productions boss and Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima on the cover, who discusses everything from Metal Gear Solid: Rising to Metal Gear Solid 5 and Project Ogre.

Yes, Kojima-san apparently has plans for a Metal Gear Solid 5.

A teaser of the feature shows the quote: “Snake was supposed to die.”

The magazine is out on November 29, so stay tuned for details on the interview then.

Thanks, Official PlayStation Magazine UK.

    LOL I love that quote.

Huh… MGS5 eh? I wonder if they can top MGS4?

@hush404: Of course they can…Kojima-san is a perfectionist.

This is what I want! Can not wait! This and Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance worlds being announced in Famitsu next week=awesomest week till Jump Festa!

@anime10121: Why the hell would they waste such time on another KH spinoff when CLEARLY, they should’ve already been working on KH3 minorly with Versus as the head development. Obviously they don’t care about the more important stuff these days, just making money..

      • anime10121

@KainArkanos: Just because a game is not on a home console does not mean it’s not an important entry (main title). Birth by Sleep (KH 0) was just as important as a numbered entry and played better than one or two, this one is confirmed to do the same. It will be the bridge title to KH3.

      • KingKelloggTheWaffleHaggler

@KainArkanos: The reason Kh3 isnt being made is because Disney

@KingKelloggTheWaffleHaggler: No Nomura confirmed almost 4 years ago that Disney wants them to hurry and make a 3, but his team is currently tied up with Versus’ snail paced (although it does look epic) development. But back on topic I wander what the Project Ogre talk is going to lead to, as Im pretty sure any talk on a MGS5 will just be that, talk (even though MGS is one of my top 3 series and I wish it to continue, there really is no way to do it without a reboot, or a series of games about the Boss).

          • KingKelloggTheWaffleHaggler

@anime10121: That was then,Ive read a few places that squares having “issues” with disney

Snake is alive, I feel it

  • KingKelloggTheWaffleHaggler

They need to leave Mgs alone,4 ended it perfectly

  • Charlie

It did end perfectly, but I’m sure he could make it end even more epically then the fourth one.

    • KingKelloggTheWaffleHaggler

      @Charlie: I doubt it =\

I dont want to see snake turn himself in or whatever bs ending kojima wants(btw that was the original ending for 4)

  • L_kira

    It’s the end of a trilogy! …wait..

I wish that the new MGS 5 would have a new main character, since in MGS 4 the story is pretty complete.

A new “Big Boss” will be nice :D
