Dead Island dev trademarks Dead World

Off the Island and into the World.

Having released Dead Island, Techland’s latest venture might be something a bit more ‘global.’

The Polish game developer trademarked the name Dead World in the United States, suggesting the next entry in the series, if any, might not be confined to a single island.

Considering the success of Dead Island—the game shipped over 2 million units worldwide—we wouldn’t be surprised if a sequel really was in the works.

Thanks, Siliconera.

@Azure’Sora: does that mean as long as you have zombies and guns, even with average ratings, there’ll still be high enough demand?

@whiteferrero: Yes ofc. Zombies hav conquered this generation ._.

Dead Island is a good game, but still a lot of room for improvement.
