Rumor: VA confirms Final Fantasy Type-0 localization [Update: Fake]

Slip-ups–they happen. Sometimes for worse. Other times, like today, for better.

Steve Blum, known as the voice of Vincent Valentine in Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII (as well as many other roles), reportedly posted an update on Twitter, in which he said he was playing a character named King in “a new Final Fantasy.”

The tweet was quickly removed, but not before the internet was able to take a screenshot.

NovaCrystallis alerted us to the tweet, but was not able to confirm its validity. Consider this a rumor for now.

Update 4:00pm: The whole thing was the work of an Internet prankster, it seems. A GameFAQs member. Some refer to these types of people as “trolls.” Read more here.
