Here's your first look at the English logo.

Level-5 announced during its Level-5 Vision press conference that Namco Bandai will bring Ni no Kuni: Shiroki Seihai no Joou to North America and Europe in early 2012, under the localized title Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch.

Stay tuned for more details.

    This game will be epic.

    I also somehow suspect this game will be released before… another one :)

  • BizarreJelly

    Namco Bandai? Uh oh…

    • KingdomPersona

      @BizarreJelly: Let me guess you think they going to delay it huh whatever don’t like don’t buy simple day 1 for me still sorry.

      • Sal Romano

        @KingdomPersona: I don’t think that’s what he’s talking about, KP.

        • KingdomPersona

          @Sal Romano: Then what is he talking about I don’t see this as a problem.

          • BizarreJelly

            @KingdomPersona: Uh, no. I have no problems with delays, i’ll be getting it regardless of when it gets released. I’m just not a big fan of Namco Bandai when it comes to them publishing niche games like this. Their track record with the Tales series alone hasn’t been great(although they seem to be getting their act together…)

            If it’s typical Namco Bandai we all know and just love then expect zero advertising, released alongside big name titles and then a blamed fanbase for low sales. But whatever, i’m glad it’s coming over anyway :) credit where it’s due.

            • KingdomPersona

              @BizarreJelly: oh I get it I’m not that worry like you say they getting their act together and being Grace F so yeah I don’t care still getting it :)

    • HanPaul

      @BizarreJelly:
      read my mind.

    • Schtolteheim Reinbach III

      @BizarreJelly: LOL, I guess they won’t bring XILLA in here now would they? Namco, you’re such as ASS!

    Just Say thanks Namco Bandai
    I wish Square Enix bring Ni no Kuni <3

  • LordKaiser

    But I thought that Level 5 will publish their own games now! What’s going on?

    • HanPaul

      @LordKaiser:
      I was hoping that too, but they’re NA offices are probably still too small to self-publish.

  • FaithlessMr

    Namco Bandai being awesome. They sure are earning my trust. So glad we’re getting this in Europe hellz yeah!

    2012: Tales of Graces F, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Ni no Ku ni. Great year to be a rpg fan :D

  • captainhowdy

    Hmm let’s hope not another Dark Souls incident.

    • KingdomPersona

      @captainhowdy: You mean the CE bullcrap people keep saying?

      • RyougaZell

        @KingdomPersona: Its a true story.

        1) Namco Bandai decided to ‘cheapen’ the CE by converting the previously included physical guide into a digital one (which people say ended just being a preview for the sold guide)
        2) The metallic box ended being a tin box that easily bends
        3) Namco Bandai and BestBuy had a mega confusion among themselves. No CE was delivered to that shop and, even though they advertised the sell as CE, Best Buy tried to give normal editions to the buyers (I’m among them). Due to complains, Best Buy ended up giving $20 gift cards. My Best Buy said they didn’t care and I wasn’t getting anything and basically told me to cancel my order if I didn’t want to do business with them. I obviously reported them via email and got a 15 dollar refund… less than others but I wasn’t in the mood to fight.
        4) Namco Bandai practically refuses to acknowledge the big screwup with Best Buy ever happened. Many feel they should at least get the Digital Guide as good will… but it didn’t happen.

        Still getting the games I like (Graces F and Ni no kuni) but yeah… not a favorite company at the moment.

        • KingdomPersona

          @RyougaZell: Well 1)Being mad about screwing up the CE of dark soul it’s enough to make me mad at them but I understand
          2)Namco did’t even announce a CE of both Ni no kuni and Graces F so people shouldn’t be mad yet.
          and that it lol but again I understand about CE now that you explained.

          • RyougaZell

            @KingdomPersona:
            Its not about the CE per se… its rather about advertising something and then changing it (the guide and box) after months of announcing the thing.

            Namco Bandai severly understimated how much Dark Souls was going to sell and they underproduced the CE, screwing all the fans that ordered with certain chains.

            I still love Dark Souls to death. But yeah… bad reputation.

            Lets just look at Atlus. They screwed big time with their SMT: Strange Journey release for DS. What did they do? They shipped a new CD for free! And then the Demon Souls Guide had a low quality print and the cover faded… they shipped a new guide for free as well! Namco screwed with Dark Souls and they… decided it never happened.

            Oh well. I still thank them for getting me Graces F and Ni no kuni in English. I just hope they learn from this mistake. Sadly I see Abyss 3DS releasing on the same date as Devll Survivor 2 DS and Resident Evil Revelations 3DS release…

            • KingdomPersona

              @RyougaZell: Well I don’t see Devil Survivor 2 and Resident Evil Revelations outselling Abyss 3DS beside people with 3DS will probably get both so I’m not worried.

              • RyougaZell

                @KingdomPersona: Oh please… you can’t seriously believe what you just said. Resident Evil not outselling Abyss? I can understand not expecting Devil Survivor doing so… but Resident Evil?

                And I added Devil Survivor 2 because it and Tales are both niche rpgs. And personally I beleive a ‘new’ RPG has better chance to sell than a ‘port’.

                • KingdomPersona

                  @RyougaZell: Like I say people with 3DS will probably get both and buy Devil Survivor 2 since they have a 3DS I know I’m getting all of them so that why it’s not a problem for me.

  • captainhowdy

    @Kingdom Persona

    That’s what I’m talking about. I don’t know what they have plan for pre order bonus (or if they will do it at all) but I hope it all goes well this time with no confusion.
