Local co-op, but no online play for Monster Hunter Tri G

Capcom support page clarifies online details.

Unlike Wii‘s Monster Hunter Tri, 3DS‘s Monster Hunter Tri G will not have online play.

Clarified in a Capcom support topic, the game will use the internet only for download event quests. The closest thing to online play offered is local co-operative play, allowing you and friends to play together through local communication between your handhelds.
