Ys Vita, Square Enix Vita titles, more in this week’s Famitsu
Latest Famitsu sees a plethora of announcements.This week’s Famitsu has first looks at a new PlayStation Vita titles. Early spills from the magazine have revealed the identities of at least eleven.
- Ys Celceta: Sea of Trees (Falcom) – remake of Ys IV; uses Ys VII‘s party system; has touch puzzles; 2012 release.
- Lord of the Apocalypse (Square Enix) – action RPG and possible sequel to Lord of Arcana; same “world view” as Lord of Vermillion; custom character creation; 2011 release; also for PSP.
- Legion of Hell / Hell’s Army / Armies of Hell (Square Enix) – launch title; 4-Player Monster Hunter-esque; developed by Entersphere; players control an army of 100 goblins, fighting in hell.
- Ninja Gaiden Sigma (Tecmo Koei)
- Katamari (Namco Bandai)
- Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (Capcom) – launch title.
- STG (working title) (Cave)
- DX White Lights (Cave)
- DJ Max Technika (Pentavision) – spring 2012.
- Three Browser Kingdoms (???)
- Nikoli Sudoku (???)
Additionally, the magazine has updates on already announced titles, including:
- Escape Plan (SCE)

- F1 2011 (Codemasters) – planned launch title.

- Ridge Racer (Namco Bandai) – planned launch title.
God Eater 2 was also announced for PSP. And Grasshopper Manufacture revealed Diabolical Pitch for Xbox 360. It’s most likely the studio’s TGS 2010-announced Kinect title, codenamed Project D at the time.
