Nomura hints at The World Ends With You sequel
Something is being worked on.

Neku Sakuraba’s appearance in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance may be a sign of a new The World Ends With You. Speaking with the latest issue of Famitsu, Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura said Neku’s appearance could be taken as a hint of something to come, adding that something is being worked on.

Nomura didn’t directly use the term “sequel,” nor did he directly say a new game is in development, but his comments at least indicate there’s hope for Neku outside his appearance in Kingdom Hearts 3D.

Awesome!!! Even if a sequel isn’t being made, an updated port to the 3DS would be awesome, given how rare this game is in Europe. It basically sold out everywhere the moment it was released, so this would give new players a chance to get intimate with Neku and the Reapers once more.
