Capcom launched the official website for Monster Hunter Tri G today, which was announced yesterday for 3DS. The site provides us a first look at direct-feed media of the game.

The game’s main monster, Blakydios, can be seen here. His arms and forehead have a special substance that explodes over time. He’s the game’s marquee monster; expect to see him on promotional material and possibly on Tri G‘s box art.

The new base of operations, Tanzia Harbor, which replaces Monster Hunter Tri‘s Rockrack City network hub, can be seen here. It’s a known oasis for sea goers and is quite the beauty.

A look at the game’s touch screen controls can be seen here. A “Target Camera” switch can be toggled on and off. When on, the L button will make you turn towards the monster you’re fighting. When off, the L button will move the camera behind your character’s back.

Monster Hunter Tri G will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show next week. Capcom is setting up three quests for attendees.

Thanks, Andriasang.

      @IsleyOfTheNorth:
      Capcom would rather release some other unfinished and bland shootan game that will force you to pay 5usd/eur for each additional chapter and character costumes other than actually giving us their big in japan games for some reason.

      I have yet to understand why we haven’t got Monster Hunter 3rd in the west.
