Monster Hunter is coming to 3DS. This week’s Famitsu has the reveal.
Monster Hunter Tri G is a port of Wii‘s Monster Hunter Tri. It’ll offer local wireless play and retain water elements from the original game. Tapping the bottom screen will make your character turn around and face larger monsters.
Monster Hunter Tri G will launch in Japan this year. It will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show later this month.
Famitsu also revealed a circle pad add-on peripheral for 3DS, which snaps on to the bottom of the system, and literally adds a analog stick to the right side of the face buttons. The attachment has an extra shoulder button on it, giving the handheld a total of three: L, R, and the peripheral’s new “R2,” as we’ll call it. Famitsu lists price and release date as TBA.
