Transfarring in effect.

Metal Gear Solid HD Edition and Zone of the Enders HD Edition are coming to PlayStation Vita. Kojima Productions boss Hideo Kojima announced the two collections during Sony’s Tokyo Game Show media briefing this morning.

Both collections will utilize Kojima Pro’s Transfarring feature, which allows you to “Transfar” your saves between Vita and PlayStation 3.

According to Kojima, their goal with “Transfarring” is to be able to develop and release a game simultaneously on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. He’s working towards that goal on his new project, the details of which he would not share.

Cool, but do I need only buy one copy of the game, like on PS3 for example, to be able to play it on vita?

“Transfarring” is a great idea, but not if the publishers are going to try and force me to buy the same game for multiple platforms, just so I can use it.

@Zero: the price for the two versions would then need to be equal. Or else the player would buy the “cheaper” one and play on either console.
