Sega… fed up with Yakuza? Apparently not! The latest issue of Famitsu reveals three major developments on the Japanese mafia series.
Toshihiro Nagoshi, creator of the series, formed a new studio under Sega called the “Yakuza Studio.” They currently have two projects in the works.
The first project, which will be shown off at the Tokyo Game Show next month, is a sequel to PSP‘s Yakuza: Black Panther. It will release on PSP in spring 2012.
The second project is a bit larger. Yakuza 5 is in development. Nagoshi didn’t share details, unfortunately. Hopefully, he’ll share more information at his press conference tomorrow morning in Tokyo.
Thanks, Sinobi.
