Square Enix and Airtight Games, developer of Dark Void, will announce a “top-secret join project” at the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle, this weekend.
The development team, including creative director Kim Swift (known for Portal and Left 4 Dead, will announce the game through an exclusive panel on Saturday, August 27 in the Pegasus room. The game is described in the press release as “incredibly fascinating and quirky.”
The developer has previously been said to be working on an unannounced third-person shooter with a major third-party publisher. We take it this might be it.
Additionally, Square Enix will bring its core lineup to the show, including: Dead Island, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Heroes of Ruin, and Wakfu.
