PlayStation Vita clears FCC testing
Inching ever closer

Sony’s next-generation handheld, PlayStation Vita, is one step closer to its promised holiday 2011 release. The platform just cleared FCC testing, which is usually the final hurdle before a device is shipped off to retailers in the United States.

Engadget spotted the newly-surfaced reports, which can be viewed at the Federal Communications Commission’s website here, here, and here.
