BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend Vita trailer
BlazBlue trailer highlights new character, PS3/PSV connectivity.

Arc System Works released the PlayStation Vita trailer for BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend today. The clip highlights new characer Relius Clover, network mode features, and connectivity between the PlayStation 3 and Vita versions.

Specifically, the PS3 and PSV versions of the game can share save data for story mode.

    Well Sony’s tools have apparently gone from ‘what the hell is going on’ status to ‘That was easy! TM’ with this Vita release…

    Are we supposed to get like every fighting game on consoles to be cross-play with Vita and PS3 now? That would be ace… fighters are perfect on-the-go games.

      That and racing games (which would benefit even more from being able to have your own screen to see what’s going on as well). This PS3 vs Vita gameplay is quickly becoming THE selling point of the Vita for me, it’s an idea I’ve been dreaming of for a long time (playing handhelds directly against a console that is), it’s quite exciting to see it become a reality!
