Official screenshots of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend, Arc System Works’ latest entry in the fighting franchise, hit the net today. In development for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PlayStation Vita, the fighter boasts all-new features.

A new fighter, Relius, has been added to the roster; online play has been given new rules; the Abyss mode is updated; four new scenarios have been added to Story mode; BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger‘s Story mode is included; and more. The PS3 and PSV versions of the game can share save data, though it hasn’t been confirmed if they can cross-play.

Glad someone confirmed it. I had intially thought Extend was only for the PSVita

I hope they go Ruin-style and give us both games on Vita and PS3 for one price. That has to be a strategy going forward if Sony and publishers on both systems want to really capitalize.

Should look great on Vita with that awesome OLED screen, plenty of rich colours in this one.
