“Sony Surprise” on next GameTrailers TV [Update: False]

Sony has something in store for fans on the next episode of GameTrailers TV. A TV schedule posted on Spike.com reveals a “Sony Surprise”-based episode for Friday, July 15.

The latest episode of GameTrailers TV, which aired July 7, boasted the exclusive reveal of the 15-minute long BioShock Infinite E3 2011 gameplay demo. The show regularly exhibits major exclusives.

Update: We’ve been fooled. This “Sony Surprise” episode is actually a rerun of the Starhawk reveal episode. No new game announcements here.

    Sal, are you going to report on PlanetSide 2? I think it could give the site some extra attention, though the news and trailer are a bit old now I guess. Big announcement anyhow.

      @rockman29: When it was announced the other night, I sent a quick email to my contact at SOE, asking if a PS3 version was also in the works — considering SOE’s been doing the PS3 / PC ordeal, lately. Unfortunately, PlanetSide 2 is a PC-exclusive, and we don’t cover PC games. =\

    i am tired of surprises from sony everytime they announce something bullshit follows for example ps plus FAIL psp go SUPER FAIL dc universe online was about to be free to play now isn’t FAIL and now resistance 3 and future 1st party sony exclusive tile will have an online pass SUPER FAIL then rumors shooting around about a ps4 when ps3 has in no way hit its stride not to mention about 2 weeks ago they said they wasn’t thinking about a new system for sometime so pretty much lied to everybody. if this is true yea ULTIMATE FAIL not to mention they just got hacked and then annouce ps4 like nothing happening the only reason i have stuck with my ps3 is because online is free and i am waiting for FFV13 other than that screw sony.

      And is usually implemented by the developer,in this case insomniac.
