Ubisoft’s showcasing a playable build of Rayman: Origins at Comic-Con in San Diego. The publisher released a new trailer and set of screenshots for home viewing today. The game, in development at Ubisoft Montpelier, returns to the series’ roots as a 2D side-scrolling platformer, with added 4-player co-op.

    I actually went back and played the original Rayman the other day.

    I thought back then that I just sucked because I was young but…that game is pretty friggin hard still.

    Looking forward to this.

    hmm…rayman…ok i’ll admit. i haven’t got a single clue on whats going on in the trailer…mostly cuz i’ve only played rayman trwice. once on the N64 and once on the gamecube, but i still love all of the chaos and silliness thats going on in that trailer.
