Pokemon Rumble Blast dated for October

Pokemon Rumble Blast is coming to North America and Europe. The first Pokemon game for 3DS, it’s described as an “action-packed Pokemon adventure in 3D,” pitting players against “waves of opposing wind-up Toy Pokemon.”

The game features real-time battles between Toy Pokemon, including fights against “giant Boss Pokemon” of “massive size and strength.” It’ll include over 600 Toy Pokemon, including Pokemon from April’s Nintendo DS titles Pokemon Black and Pokemon White.

“Pokemon Rumble Blast delivers instant Pokemon gratification,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “The controls are intuitive and simple enough for anyone to pick up and play, while new battle modes, more than 600 Toy Pokemon and social play opportunities offer deep experiences for longtime fans.”

Pokemon Rumble Blast will launch exclusively for Nintendo 3DS on October 24, 2011.
