PlayStation Store returns to Japan this Wednesday
While the rest of the world has already had its PlayStation Network services fully restored following the late April hacking, Japan has only been partially brought back to speed. That will change on July 6 when the PlayStation Store returns to the country.
The Wednesday restore will see the return of Japan’s PlayStation Store, in-game item purchases, product code and PlayStation Network card use, Qriocity video services, and Media Go services.
PlayStation Network was fully restored in North America, Europe, and parts of Asia on June 2. Hong Kong and South Korean services were restored on June 14 and June 24, respectively. The July 6 restore will be the final step in global restoration.
