Nintendo trademarks The Last Story in the US

The Last Story may be on its way to the United States. Following a rumor stating that the Mistwalker-developed Wii RPG was already in the process of localization for North American shores, Nintendo was granted trademark rights for the name on July 12.

While this does not confirm the game’s release at all, it does further hint at the possibility.

Stay tuned.

The odds of this coming to N.A. seem to be getting a lot better. Let’s hope so, I really would like to play this game.

I just like the games that have no buisness coming out in my contry of origin. But screw you japan I’ve got Skate, and that’s something you can’t have.

While I’m really only interested in Xenoblade out of the three Operation Rainfall games, I wouldn’t mind seeing The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower come stateside. But, I don’t think trademarks hardly mean anything when it comes to localization, especially when it’s Namco Bandai with the trademarks haha. They filed a trademark for Tales of Innocence and I also believe they filed one for Hearts awhile ago? Either way, it would be nice to see all three Operation Rainfall games come here.

Why cant they just give them to us Right NOW!

    Now just confirm it…

And then, with Xenoblade and The Last Story out of the way, confirm Pandora’s Tower.

Damn everytime I see articles like this – I want Xenoblade as well! – I look longingly at my barely used Wii waiting for games like this. Hopefully they’ll announce something else hinting this by the end of the year.

I really hope this game makes it stateside.

Nintendo is making me resort to practices I usually don’t support (see: torrents) in order to play this game.
