Level-5 released their PSP game The Little Battlers in Japan last month. Today, following this month’s the opening of Level-5 Interational America, we may have a hint at it being the company’s first localization.
The role-playing game developer filed a trademark for The Little Battlers eXperience in the United States on July 21. The trademark covers the name’s use in video games, plastic models, animation, comics, and other merchandise.
Level-5 recently launched a poll on their Facebook account asking fans which unreleased Level-5 game is the most exciting to them. Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney is in the top spot, with Ninokuni (PS3) not too far behind. The Little Battlers isn’t exactly the most voted.
Did Level-5 trademark the title with plans to release the game overseas? Or are they just securing all their properties in the United States, just in case?
Thanks, Siliconera.
