Idea Factory and Compile Heart, developers of PlayStation 3′s upcoming Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, are working on PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS titles.

Speaking to the latest issue of Gemaga, Idea Factory president Shingo Kuwana and Compile Heart president Yoshiaki Satou revealed that they have plans for Sony and Nintendo’s new handhelds. The games are so far along in development that they could be announced at any time, said Satou.

The interview also briefly discussed the appearance of Keiji Inafune in Neptunia mk2. He’s looked at as sort on an idol by the game developers as he has “power.” Kuwana suggested that Inafune goes all around Japan, visiting game studios.

Thanks, Andriasang.

I’m always eager to see what JRPG developers can do… I’m especially eager to see talent on the PSVita, where I think it can shine particularly brightly.
