Grasshopper Manufacture‘s latest game is revealed in this week’s issue of Famitsu. The No More Heroes (pictured) developer announced Lollipop Chainsaw, a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 action title published by Kadokawa Games.
Players take on the role of a high school student named Juliet, who hails from a family of zombie hunters. After zombies appear in Juliet’s San Romero High School (what’s with Suda and Spanish names?), Juliet must make waste of them with both her chainsaw and cheerleading skills (acrobatics, people), showering the screen with pink blood in the process.
According to Grasshopper boss Goichi Suda, the game will deliver a previously unseen “pop” style of zombie game.
Thanks, Andriasang.
