Final Fantasy Type-0: status update, gameplay videos, and control chart
Final Fantasy Type-0 is nearing completion. A new post by director Hajime Tabata on the game’s official development blog reveals that tuning and debugging are all that’s left.
The game’s been in development for the past three and a half years. This felt like a long time to Tabata, though he noted that The 3rd Birthday was the main project for about a year of that time. The lengthy creation period allowed the team to polish and fill the game with content.
Type-0 will be playable for the first time at an Odaiba demo event tomorrow. Andriasang has a translated control chart, which Square Enix shared earlier today.
Four short gameplay videos were added to the game’s official site, demonstrating various gameplay aspects. See them below:
Basic Battle Knowledge
Kill Site and Break Site
Active World Map
Special Order System
Thanks, Andriasang.
