Namco Bandai announced two new Tekken titles are currently in development for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. These two new titles mark the first time Tekken has appeared on a Nintendo platform since Tekken Advance, which launched nearly ten years ago on the Game Boy Advance.

Tekken (working title) on Wii U will be the first Tekken title to appear on a Nintendo home video game console. Namco Bandai states that they will be “making full use of the new platform’s cutting-edge performance to deliver a new fighting sensation for Tekken games.”

Tekken for 3DS will be the first Tekken game to see a 3D format.

Release dates and prices for the two are still to be announced.

From the trailer, looks like its gonna be based around the first Tekken.

It’ll be interesting to see what, if any cross platform stuff they’ll do with the Wii U and 3DS versions.
