Granzella planning PS3, Vita support

Granzella, the recent game development start-up from Disaster Report creator Kazuma Kujo, is working on new projects for PlayStation Home and PlayStation 3.

Speaking to Weekly Famitsu, Kujo revealed that Granzella will first release two games for PlayStation Home, which he promised will stand up against retail games. Following the Home titles, they plan on releasing a downloadable game for PlayStation 3 sometime this year. Next year, they hope to support PlayStation Vita and Android.

Asked if Granzella would release sequels to popular Irem titles like Disaster Report or Steambot Chronicles, Kujo said he couldn’t answer at current.

Thanks, Andriasang.

Disaster Report its dead, Irem anounced a few months back, so Steambot Chronicles its the only one with hopes (and its the only one i care).

I was really disappointed Disaster Report got cancelled, I know it was a mark of respect but going so far to cancel it after all the work was a bit overboard. So if there’s ever a chance it comes back I hope it happens. Same goes for Steambot, although that seemed to be in development hell even before the cancellation.
