Zombies, Sony exclusive, return of fighting franchise teased for E3

UK’s Play Magazine knows a thing or two about what will be at E3 that we don’t — being a print publication and all. A Twitter updated posted earlier today teases some major reveals.

“On day one of E3 – two zombie games, a huge interview, a massive Sony exclusive and return of a huge fighting game franchise among others,” wrote the publication on Twitter.

In a followup post, they wrote: “That’s all behind closed doors stuff which we’ll be reporting on but we’ll bring you showroom floor pictures, gossip, reaction, etc too.”

Let the guessing begin. My take? The “huge fighting game franchise” could be Darkstalkers or Super Smash Brothers. It’s not Killer Instinct, though.

    I’d guess Smash Bros. Mostly because you mentioned it in the article. I’m completely daft at recalling any other possibilities lol.

    As for Sony exclusive… how many do these guys have? Sheesh… there’s already Infamous, Resistance, Twisted Metal, and frigging Uncharted this year! Stop it already!

    since there’s already a new Guilty Gear coming up and Soul Calibur as well as Tekken Tag 2 and SF X Tekken.

    can we have Darkstalkers 4,Samurai Shodown VII, please Capcom and Snk???

    This is a Playstation mag so they are talking to that audiance, i dont think it is a nintendo game they are talking about, all games they are talking about are Multiplats or Sony Exclusives…

      That’s what I was thinking. It would be odd to tease Super Smash Bros. in a PlayStation magazine.

    No way it’s a new Super Smash Bros. Don’t get me wrong I would love to see another one. Especially a portable one, but someone would have heard something about it before this announcement.

    Well this is pretty vague. I’m sure there is going to be more than one massive sony exclusive at the show, unless they mean a whole new exclusive IP. And then two zombie games…Resident Evil 6? Left for Dead 3?
    Oh and as far as fighting games, Soul Caliber 5 is already announced so that’s possible. I would love to see what an HD super smash bros looks like on Project Cafe but I’m not getting excited for that yet.

    Two zombie games – Dead Island? Turtle Rock Game? House of the Dead? (lol)

    A huge interview – Some sort of exclusive interview for the magazine?

    A massive Sony exclusive – This is the one that is the most puzzling. Is it a first party title or 3rd? New God of War? Agent (finally?)

    Return of a huge fighting game franchise – Hopefully that isnt Soul Cal 5, since most people know about it already.
