SE Masterpieces is a budget series
by [@salromano] at 11:07 AM EDT, May 31, 2011 .

Square Enix’s recently trademarked SE Masterpieces isn’t the high-definition collection you were hoping it be. German publisher Rondomedia has announced it’s signed a contract with Square Enix to distribute the publisher’s “SE Masterpieces” titles for 9,99 euros (approx. $15 USD) a pop.

Comically enough, the titles, which are to be distributed for PC, are largely (originally) Eidos series games rather than Square Enix. They include: Battlestations: Midway, Battlestations: Pacific, Deus Ex: Invisible War, Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Blood Money, The Last Remnant, and a few more.

Thanks, JPGames.

Its like saying you want a golden shower. Then realizing that means piss and not a shower made out of gold tile.

        Definitely.

You know, this would basically be free money in a time when the company could use some extra finances. -_-

Figures that Eidos would do this, but Square-Enix in Japan wouldn’t be able to figure it out.
