Electronic Arts is already working with the Tokyo-based Grasshopper Manufacture on their upcoming action horror title Shadows of the Damned, but that doesn’t mean the publisher isn’t open to more Japanese partnerships.
When quizzed by GamingUnion on whether or not EA would consider pursuing more collaborations with eastern developers, EA Partners senior producer Steve Matulac responded, “Yea, perhaps. I’m open to that.”
Briefed on PlatinumGames‘ new company credo, striving to be ‘the face of Japan’, he commented, “Yea, exactly.”
Which Japanese developer will EA partner with next? Platinum? Level-5? We’ll find out in due time.
